This Prestonwood Estates backyard was built around how the family loves to host. We renovated the pool and built out a full outdoor kitchen and patio so grilling, smoking, and gathering all happen in one connected space.
A kitchen that hosts as hard as it cooks
Dedicated stations for the grill, the smoker, and the Big Green Egg, plus an island that seats seven. The cook stays in the conversation while everything comes off the fire.
Shade and structure
A large gabled cedar patio adds real shaded living space, with cedar tongue-and-groove ceilings carried across both the new patio and the existing one, plus four recessed LED lights for evenings outside.
Before the Renovation
A pool that anchors the space
We refreshed the pool in an Aqua Cool mini pebble finish for a vibrant, resort-style water color, and added a raised wall with a sheer descent as the focal point and water feature. A tanning ledge gives the parents a spot to relax and keep an eye on the kids, and expansive Platinum Ice travertine decking ties it all together and stays cool underfoot.
